Dear Me,
I know you’re tired. Not just the kind of tired that sleep can fix, but the kind that seeps into your bones, the kind that comes after seasons of trying, stretching, hoping and showing up again and again. I know you’ve been walking through a thousand small storms. Some that no one else can see, some that you didn’t even have words for. You’ve been doing your best to hold your world together, even when it’s quietly falling apart inside you. And yet, here you are, breathing, still trying, still believing in the light even when it flickers.

Pause for a moment.
Take a deep breath.
Let yourself feel the weight of everything you’ve carried not to judge it, but to honor it.
You’ve accomplished so much already, even in silence.
Even in doubt.
Even when you questioned if any of it mattered.
Because it does, love. You matter. What you’re building, healing and dreaming. All of it matters.

There will be days when everything feels too heavy.
When your heart feels cluttered, your mind too loud, your body too tired to keep showing up. On those days, I want you to remember this: it’s okay to rest. You are not lazy for slowing down. You are not falling behind for pausing. You are not broken for needing to breathe. You are simply human. You deserve softness.

As Rupi Kaur once wrote, “You do not just wake up and become the butterfly. Growth is a process.”
And oh, how beautifully you are growing.
You’ve learned so much in these past years. How to rebuild yourself, how to choose peace over chaos, how to stop apologizing for existing. You’ve learned that healing isn’t a straight path; it’s a dance between breaking and blooming, falling and rising, learning and unlearning.

You’ve learned that strength doesn’t always roar. Sometimes it whispers, “I’ll try again tomorrow.” Even with tears rolling down your cheeks.
So when life feels like it’s unraveling again, when new beginnings scare you or overwhelms you because they ask you to let go of what’s familiar. Be gentle with yourself. Remember, being a beginner again doesn’t mean you failed. It means you are brave enough to start over. It means you’re trusting yourself enough to walk into the unknown, even with trembling hands and shaking voice.
You are allowed to be both proud of how far you’ve come and scared of what’s next.
You are allowed to be both exhausted and grateful.
You are allowed to not have it all figured out.
You are allowed to take your time.
There is a part of you that still feels like you have to earn your worth whether through achievements, productivity, perfection. But Danicuh, your worth was never something to earn. It’s something you came into this world with. It’s something that cannot be diminished, no matter how many times you stumble or doubt yourself.
You are enough not because of what you do, but because of who you are.
You’ve been through so much and yet you continue to choose softness over bitterness, kindness over ego and faith over fear. That is not weakness. That is grace. That is resilience in its purest form.
Sometimes, the hardest thing to do is to sit still when your mind screams to move. To choose peace when you’ve been conditioned to fight. To forgive yourself when you didn’t know better. To trust that even in stillness, things are unfolding for your good.
But please remember. You deserve gentleness from yourself too.
You’ve spent years giving compassion to others, holding space for their pain, their growth, their mistakes. It’s time to hold that same space for yourself. To wrap your arms around your own heart and whisper, “I forgive you for all the times you thought you had to do more to be enough.”
As Morgan Harper Nichols wrote, “You are not behind. You are becoming.”
You are becoming.
Through every heartbreak, every uncertainty, every quiet victory.
You are becoming someone softer, wiser, freer.
You’ve already survived moments you thought would break you. You’ve stood in the ashes of endings and built new beginnings out of courage and faith. You’ve found beauty in the smallest things. A morning light, a quiet cup of coffee, a song that made you feel seen.
Those moments matter. They are proof that your soul still chooses joy even when life feels heavy.
You have not lost your magic.
It’s just waiting for you to slow down long enough to feel it again.
If no one has told you lately, let me remind you:
You’re doing beautifully, even if it doesn’t always feel like it.
You’re allowed to be proud of the small steps: the mornings you got out of bed, the boundaries you’ve set, the tears you let fall instead of holding them in.
You’re allowed to celebrate yourself without guilt.
You’ve spent so long being your own critic.
Now, it’s time to become your biggest ally.
So, here’s what I want you to do, Danicuh:

When things feel hard, pause.
Put your hand over your heart and say:
“I am doing my best. I am learning. I am healing. I am allowed to rest.”
Because you are.
Rest is not the opposite of growth. It’s part of it.
Stillness is not stagnation. It’s sacred space for becoming.
You don’t need to keep proving yourself to anyone. Not even to the past version of you who thought she had to do everything perfectly. You are already enough, even when you’re in progress. Especially when you’re in progress.
Remember that new beginnings are not supposed to feel easy. They’re meant to stretch you, to soften you, to shape you into who you’re meant to become. You’re learning patience not because you’re slow, but because you’re learning to align with divine timing. You’re learning self-love not because you’ve been unloved, but because you’re finally realizing that everything you’ve been searching for has always been within you.
So when you catch yourself rushing, comparing or doubting, stop.
Look around.
You’re not behind. You’re exactly where you need to be.
Let the next chapter unfold at its own pace. You don’t have to have all the answers right now. Sometimes the most beautiful stories begin in uncertainty.
Dear Me,
Promise me this: that you’ll keep choosing yourself.
That you’ll keep loving yourself through every messy middle, every quiet restart, every moment that asks for your courage. Promise me that you’ll give yourself permission to begin again, as many times as it takes.
Don’t forget to laugh again.
To dance in the kitchen.
To sing out of tune.
To rest without guilt.
To be alive without apology.
Because this, this moment, this breath, this chapter is yours. And you deserve to live it fully, gently, and truthfully.
You are not the same person you were a year ago, a month ago or even a week ago. You’re growing in ways you can’t yet see. You’re shedding old stories and learning to write new ones. You’re learning to find peace in the pauses and strength in surrender.
Keep going, Danicuh.
Keep softening.
Keep believing in yourself, even on the days you forget how.
And when everything feels too much, when you can’t see the light, when you’re unsure what’s next, come back to this letter. Read it slowly. Let it remind you that you’ve already survived so much and you can survive this too. Let it hold you like a friend who never leaves.
You are loved. You are guided. You are enough.
Always have been. Always will be.
With love,
Me.
